as for an update, not too much new. it's finals week, and as much as i should be stressed out, i'm not! i already turned in my drawing portfolio this morning, which leaves my anthro and photo final tomorrow and then i'm home free!! woohooo! just sucks b/c the rest of my friends arent done til later in the week, so no one wants go out. such a crapper.

ohh well, off to study for anthro and photo!

wow, i've been having way too much time to update this. oh well.

yesterday was officially the last day of dead week for me...and i think i was on campus way too long too. but we did have a speaker from SF at 7. ::Michael Osborne::  pretty cool stuff. he had a lot to say and has done awesome stuff...plus he brought some things to light that just didnt occur to me. sure there was the slight feeling of inadequacy when there was the comparison of our program to an art school program. but, that's expected. we'll just show em up in the end  then again i just feel inadequate and mediocre compared to most people a lot of the time. sucks b/c i know it spawns from my self-criticism and probably some lack of confidence in my own work.  hmm..that needs to be worked on. bummer.

anyhow, today's agenda isnt too bad. need to work on drawing and matting cuz my portfolio and drawing are due monday. gotta finish a book for my tuesday final and study some for my photo final which is also on tuesday. after tuesday, i'm home free!!  next week couldnt come faster.

photo project and art history final out of the way! now it's just a drawing for monday, two finals on tuesday and that's it!!! it's been one heck of a first quarter at poly. on top of that, i think i kicked butt on my art history final.  oooo yeah.

as for tomorrow, drawing from 8-11, pushpin 4-7 and michael osborne at 7!!! heck yes!

well, i'm back from thanksgiving break. i did the usual: ate, ate, and ate. lol, okay, so i didnt eat THAT much and i did spend time w/ the familia, saw some friends, and relaxed a whole lot. i have to say it was nice. i got back last night since i knew i needed a day to just settle in and get some stuff done since i cant seem to do that when i'm home. soo, it's sunday now and i've accomplished very little. but i think it's more than if i came home today. so...go me.  heck, i even started my day off pretty well. i went for a 2 mile run in the hills behind my house...2 miles b/c i actually got myself lost...funny story, just ask and i'll retell. buuut yeah, it was quite a sight from up there. definitely a good way to start your day.

anyways, now that thanksgiving is over...finals looms in the near future and then christmas break...which ALSO means my birthday...it's the 20th for those of you who dont know. this shorty is definitely gonna be the big 2-1!!! thaaaat's right kids. scary isnt it? i was talking to my roomate today and the mere fact of turning 21 creates a whole new money spending opportunity. aka, not exactly good in my book. lol. i highly doubt i'll be buying much at all really. most likely wine for cooking and such. but it'll be nice...then again sad b/c every birthday after this one...there just arent anymore privileges to gain, ya know? lol weird.

well, i'm off to attempt to study and read. wish me luck! i probably wont update til after finals or after winter break, just in time for the winter quarter!
